Built for the Good of Others.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.”
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.”
That quote hits home for me. I didn’t always see life that way. I used to live in forward motion—always chasing what’s next, rarely stopping to reflect. But life has a way of slowing you down and shifting your perspective.
After graduating college, I got engaged and moved to North Carolina to start building a life with my wife. I stayed with my grandfather, who had recently been diagnosed with terminal pulmonary fibrosis. During those months, I watched the effects of a slow goodbye. We shared memories, laughed over fishing stories, and spent time that I’ll always be thankful for. One thing he said over and over: in the end, it’s not the stuff you leave behind that matters—it’s the relationships, the memories, and the people you’ve loved well.
That truth settled deep in me.
Then I had a health scare—an anxiety attack so intense I thought I was dying. It was a wake-up call. Around that same time, I lost multiple close friends in tragic, sudden accidents. One left behind a wife and newborn. Another was a former foreign exchange student I hosted in high school. Each loss reinforced the same lesson: life is fragile, and tomorrow isn’t promised.
And then—I became a father.
Everything shifted again. One day I was holding my newborn daughter, and the next she was running through the house asking me thoughtful questions about the world. Time doesn’t slow down. It flies. And I can’t imagine suddenly not being here—leaving my wife and daughters to carry the weight of grief, debt, and the loss of income. That thought wrecks me. The least I can do is make sure they’re protected. Covered. Cared for—financially and emotionally—if life ever throws the unthinkable our way.
That’s why I do what I do.
Life insurance, health coverage, Medicare—it’s not just about numbers or policies. It’s about peace of mind. It’s about making sure your family has what they need when you’re no longer here to give it. It’s about taking care of the people you love most, even in your absence. The mortgage paid. The debt cleared. The kids’ future protected. That’s not paranoia—it’s wisdom.
More recently, after the birth of our third daughter, we experienced a healthcare scare that could’ve cost us thousands because of a system glitch. It was stressful, eye-opening, and a reminder of how important it is to have someone on your side who knows how to navigate this stuff.
That’s what I’m here for. No pressure. No obligation. Just honest help—whether you’re changing jobs, aging into Medicare, or figuring out how to protect yourself or your family’s future.
This isn’t just a business to me—it’s personal.
I’ve lived it. I believe in it. And I’d be honored to help you and your family be prepared for whatever tomorrow brings.
